ShipBob Integration

How to connect ShipBob to the GiddyUp Platform and what to expect from the integration.

ShipBob is a tech-enabled 3PL (third-party logistics provider) that integrates directly with the GiddyUp Platform to automate order fulfillment. Follow the steps below to connect your ShipBob account.

Before You Start

You'll need a ShipBob Personal Access Token to complete this integration. You can generate one from your ShipBob account before beginning.

Step-by-Step: Connecting ShipBob

Step 1 — Navigate to Integrations

Log in to the GiddyUp Platform and go to Settings → Integrations. Scroll to the Fulfillment section and click Connect next to ShipBob.

Step 2 — Enter Your API Key

Paste your ShipBob API Key into the credentials field and click Connect.

Step 3 — Set a Custom Order ID (Optional)

After connecting, you can set a Custom Order ID prefix for orders sent to ShipBob. This ID is visible to shoppers and applies to all warehouses connected to this fulfillment provider.

Step 4 — Create a Warehouse Location

Once connected, you'll need to set up a Warehouse Location to complete your fulfillment configuration.

Which Fulfillment Center Does ShipBob Use?

ShipBob determines which of their fulfillment centers picks and ships each order — the GiddyUp Platform does not control this. ShipBob makes that decision based on their own internal logic, which typically factors in inventory availability across their network and proximity to the customer's shipping address.

If you have questions about how ShipBob assigns fulfillment centers or want to influence that behavior (e.g., pinning orders to a specific FC), contact ShipBob Support directly.
