Modifying Orders: Updating Customer Information

This article will guide you through the process of updating customer information on an order within the GiddyUp platform. It's important to note that orders cannot be modified once their status has been updated to "shipped."

* Customer/Order edits or changes must be done on the platform as there is a one-way sync from GiddyUp to external providers. Changes or updates made on external service providers like fulfillment services will not update details in the platform.

Updating Customer Information

  • Access Order Details: Begin by navigating to the order you wish to modify within your account dashboard.

  • Edit Customer Information: Within the order details, locate the Action dropdown menu and select the "Modify Order" option.

  • Make Necessary Changes: Review the existing customer information and make any required updates or corrections.

  • Save Changes: Once you've made the necessary modifications, ensure to save the changes to update the customer information on the order. Upon saving the updates, the platform will attempt to update the fulfillment software system. Please note that the process may vary based on the fulfillment provider and integration.

It's important to proactively manage customer information to ensure accurate order fulfillment and delivery. By following these steps, brands can efficiently update customer information on orders, enhancing customer satisfaction and reducing potential issues.
