Manual Fulfillment Overview

Updated over 11 months ago

We know there are times when you may need to manually update shipping details for a specific order (or multiple), whether you're using a third-party logistics provider (3PL) we don't yet support, or you've fulfilled the order outside of the GiddyUp Platform.

To accommodate this, we created the Manual Fulfillment tool that allows you to mark an order as fulfilled within the Platform after it's already been processed and shipped elsewhere.

Below is a step-by-step overview of the manual fulfillment workflow, along with links to detailed guides for each option.

📝 Overview of Manual Fulfillment Workflow

  1. Manually Fulfill a Single Order

    • Note: Available on all Orders, no additional setup is required

    • Navigate to an order and select "Manually Fulfill"

    • Enter carrier and tracking information

    • Mark the order as shipped

  2. Set Up Manual Fulfillment as a 3PL Replacement

  3. Bulk Fulfill Orders by Uploading Files (Recommended)

  4. Bulk Fulfill Orders by Selection

    • Select multiple unfulfilled orders

    • Click “Mark as Shipped” to fulfill them all at once

    • Note: Tracking information will not be sent since it is not provided

  5. Supported Shipping Carriers

💡 Notes & Best Practices

  • GiddyUp only sends shipment emails on your behalf if the Carrier + Tracking Number is provided

  • If a tracking number is not provided, it may result in PayPal holding funds, as they always recommend providing tracking information on each Order
