Navigating tax collection can be complex. This guide walks you through setting up tax collection, ensuring compliance and transactions. Taxes are collected using an integrated tax service.
Note: Once taxes are set up in the tax collection settings, brands will receive sales taxes and are responsible for paying them. The GiddyUp Group doesn't remit taxes on behalf of brands but only collects sales tax based on enabled settings.
Setting Up Tax Collection
Navigate to the Settings section located on the left-hand side of the platform dashboard.
Tax Collection
Click on "Tax Collection"
Add Taxable Region:
Click on "Add Taxable Region" to initiate the process.

Select the Countries:
Select State/Region or Select All:
For each selected country, choose specific states or regions where applicable, or select all if tax collection applies uniformly across the country.

Save by Clicking "Collect Sales Tax":
Once you've made your selections, click "Save" to confirm and activate tax collection for the chosen regions.
