Sample Orders

A Faster, Zero-Cost Way to Get Your Products Into the Right Hands

Every affiliate, publisher, and content creator who drives traffic to your offer eventually asks the same question: can I try the product before I promote it? It's a reasonable ask, and until now, answering it has been slower and more manual than it should be.

That's changing. GiddyUp has launched Sample Orders, a self-serve way for our team to get product samples into the hands of the partners most likely to create demand for your brand, without any added cost or operational lift on your end.

The problem this solves

Previously, every sample request had to be routed through a third-party fulfillment tool, coordinated by hand, and tracked over email. That worked as a stopgap, but it meant delays: a publisher who wanted to try your product before writing a review, or an affiliate who wanted hands-on experience before building a campaign, could end up waiting days just for the request to move through the queue. Slower samples mean slower content, slower campaigns, and slower traffic to your offers.

Sample Orders removes that bottleneck. Authorized GiddyUp team members can now create and send sample orders directly on the platform, using your existing fulfillment setup, so the right partner gets the right product, faster.

Why it's a win for your brand

It costs you nothing beyond product and shipping. Sample orders carry no card processing fees, no commission, and no platform or integration charges. You're never billed for a sample the way you would be for a paid order.

Your performance metrics stay clean. Samples are automatically excluded from performance reporting and daily reconciliation, so a batch of samples sent to ten publishers never shows up as a dip in conversion rate or a distortion in your campaign data. What you see in your dashboard reflects real customer activity.

It runs on your fulfillment, your way. Sample orders ship through your existing warehouse and 3PL setup, just like any other order. There's no new logistics process to stand up and no separate inventory to manage.

Your partners' privacy is protected. GiddyUp masks the recipient's name and phone number from brand view by design, so partner relationships stay confidential. You'll still see what was ordered and where it's headed at a shipment level, just not who, specifically, is behind the request.

You're still in control, and now it's fully self-serve. Sample Orders is opt-in: it's off by default, and you can turn it on for your brand yourself, right from your Settings screen, with no need to wait on your GiddyUp account team. Order sizes are capped per item, and every sample order is visible to you individually on your Orders page, so nothing happens in a black box.

It's built to drive activity, not just goodwill. The goal isn't simply to give products away, it's to accelerate the moment when a publisher writes the post, an affiliate builds the campaign, or a creator films the content that sends traffic to your offer. Faster samples mean faster time-to-content and, ultimately, more opportunity for your brand to be seen.

How to get started

If Sample Orders is already enabled for your brand, you'll see individual sample orders appear on your Orders page, clearly marked and reflecting $0 in fees. If it isn't enabled yet, you no longer need to loop in your GiddyUp account team, you can turn it on yourself in a couple of clicks.

See our guide, How to Enable Sample Orders, for the full walkthrough.

Sample Orders is one more way GiddyUp is investing in making it easier, and faster, for the right partners to say yes to your brand.
